| 7. | Local Plan Update | |
| A letter has been sent to the Clerk from the portfolio holder at BDBC, reaffirming BDBCs commitment to slowing down the rate of new housing in the Borough in order to allow infrastructure time to catch up. BDBC is requesting meetings with Parish Councils in the next few weeks to update them on the Local Plan strategy. The Clerk will be co-ordinating this in the next few days.
Cllr Munday has attended a recent BDAPTC meeting, which an update on the Local Plan. BDBC have confirmed that it has to use the standard method for calculating housing numbers for now. BDBC is proposing a step process, so decreased development for the first five years, and then increase for the second five years. This will hopefully allow infrastructure to be put in place, and the plan will need to be reviewed after 5 years anyway. This approach has been tried in Fareham successfully, so a precedent has been set. The Regulation 18 consultation will be in January 2024, with the Plan hopefully being adopted in late 2025. Bramley may well be looking at a zero housing number, but this may change. The stepped approach would be backed by BDBC for Neighbourhood Plans as well. |

|
| 8. | Neighbourhood Plan | |
